With up to 1.5 GB/min data transfer rates, the Velocity Series are the fastest desktop backup and disaster recovery solutions available. The speed of the Velocity Series Backup Systems is based on the Serial ATA interface, which provides speeds over three times faster than USB2.0 or FireWire. The integration of BounceBack Professional and the Serial ATA interface provides the world's first externally bootable device for Windows 2000/XP. In the event of a hard drive failure the Velocity Series Backup Systems can be automatically configured to become the boot drive. You can even protect against operating system corruption by selecting the Velocity Series as the boot device in your systems setup. With The Removable line of Velocity Series Backup Systems, data portability is easy. You can now take your backed up data to remote or off-site locations for use with another computer or added security. Using multiple removable drives the Velocity Series becomes the perfect solution for archiving data or rotating backup. You don't need to know the ins and outs of computers to use the Velocity Series. Installation is a snap with very little time spent inside the computer.
