Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
Many changes from earlier versions, will take a while to get used to it.
Others using older versions must download a huge file to use or I must save to old version. Neither is very satisfactory.
Microsoft claimed I needed to upgrade to stop the frequent lockups.

Most Outlook changes were minor in the past. This version took time for me to get used to it. There are also compatibility issues with earlier versions. For example, the default extension for Word is .docx which cannot be opened by an earlier version.
