The monitor is very nice, no dead pixels, very uniform. This is a high gamut monitor, the colors can be very vivid. The problem is that the software is not Vista 64 compatible and Samsung does not know when a fix will be available. Without the Natural Color Expert software you will have difficulty getting the correct colors. The monitor comes with a calibrator but it can only be used with the Samsung software. I needed to use a different color calibrator and I am still not getting perfect calibration.
