No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I bought this because I wanted something that is mac compatible that is bluetooth and than uses a 3 button mouse rather than the gimpy mac mouse. This product is not worth the money. The mouse is tiny, like a micro mouse so it is not comfortable to use beyond a few minutes. The key board periodically disconnects from the computer and takes 3 minutes to reconnect. This is very frustrating when it happens 2-3 times a day. There is ofter significant delay in transmitting mouse clicks and keyboard strokes to the computer so it feels like you are typing/working in mollassess. Try the other bluetooth mac compatible keyboard and mouse as it might be better. I probably can not be worse.
