This printer is used in a Finance department to print documents from 1-50 pages. Its physical location would allow 5 people to use it regularly, but it jams so much that only one person still uses it - others walk further to another networked printer that is reliable.

When it prints, the quality is good. It's fast, not too noisy, and parts are easily accessible when you open it. Unfortunately, we have to open it and remove the paper tray and toner more than once a day to clear a paper jam and reset it.

The printer came to us as a demo with 3000 copies on it from a vendor who also provided a color copier. They have replaced the face panel which had a broken clip, and a fuser bar. There has been no improvement.

We have four other printers and two copiers on our network. All use generic paper. The printers run with generic toner as well. If we have to buy better quality paper and brand name toners for this machine, I would like to know that.

I have been pleased with the quick response from The Phillips Group in their attempts to make this printer reliable. I wish someone could make it work.
