Purchased three sets and used 10 shelves in a single stack as an AV rack, and the other 2 shelves to make a computer monitor/keyboard stand next to the rack. CompSource's prices were FAR lower than anybody else for the exact same product. The Alera stuff in particular is nice because the poles are also modular (4 sections) and they include a lot of extra parts -- you could build four separate short tables, or any combination.
