This sound bar system emulates surround sound audio, yet comes in a compact, easy-to-manage package. This compact, 2.1-channel HT-CT550W sound bar home theater system features simulated surround sound and a wireless sub-woofer to rock the house with impressive, room-filling audio--without the need for rear speakers. Made to match your 40" or larger BRAVIA HDTV, this sound bar can be mounted directly to select BRAVIA TVs, hung on the wall or placed on a shelf, while the wireless sub-woofer allows for flexible placement. Three HDMI inputs with 3D and standby pass-through allow you to connect and access multiple devices--even when the system is powered down. In addition to the latest audio decoding technologies, this sound bar features the BRAVIA Widget on-screen interface for easy control with compatible TVs. |

Review: I've been looking at these systems for a while, a friend had a Sony system & was happy with it.We heard it & were impressed. We are happy with it so far.
Pros: Like the wireless sub woofer, the optical cable was supplied.
Cons: Instructions could be a little clearer.

Great Choice
Review: I wish I had found this sooner ... it is a great product and this is an outstanding price for a new unit ... it is $20 less than I paid for an Open Box unit at BestBuy

Very Good Quality SoundBar
Review: I am very happy with my Sony Sound Bar system. It was very easy to install and operate. I use it with my Logitech Revue, and watch my HD movies through Netflick. When watching action movies you really get the Big Boom from the sub woofer. I also play my MP3 music from my hard drive and it all sounds great using the Sony sound bar system. I would recommend this Sony Sound Bar product to anybody that ask.
Pros: Energy Efficient, Clear Sound, Easy To Setup, Interfaces Well With TV, Good Remote, Intuitive Controls, Thundering Bass
