The Canon IX-R7000 Dual-Sided ID Card & Badge Printer produces photo-quality color images with edge-to-edge printing on single- and dual-sided ID cards with speed and efficiency. It can print up to 145 inkjet-coated CR80 PVC cards per hour. The high-capacity removable feed hopper holds up to 250 cards, and can be refilled during printing. The IX-R7000 prints simultaneously on the front and back of cards in 600 x 600 dpi resolution using dye-sublimation thermal retransfer printing. It supports IXR-YMCKK/IXR-YMCK ink ribbons and IXR-FILM retransfer film, sold separately.
The IX-R7000 printer has a small, compact footprint, allowing it to easily be installed on a desktop or under a counter. The easy-to-read LCD display and straightforward operation buttons further make the printer simple to use.
The feed hopper can be removed and stored separately when not in use in order to help keep blank cards secure. The printer additionally offers a slot for an optional security cable lock to help protect against device theft.
