Designed for datacenters and other electrically demanding applications, the PDU30BHVT8R has rugged, industrial-grade metal housing and a 10-foot AC power cord. It can be mounted either horizontally or vertically, includes a cord retention tray, and is ETL/RoHS certified. In the world of PDUS, there are essentially two types: Basic PDUS and Smart /Intelligent PDUS. The
The Smart/Intelligent label can sometimes generate confusion because it's not a term that corresponds to a singular qualifying product feature. There are a collection of advanced features that when available in a PDU model, make that model smart.
It's important to understand that it's not about having a smart PDU with all the advanced features currently available. It's about establishing what your power management needs are.
