This 2.5G PoE++ switch is equipped with 2.5GBASE-T RJ-45 ports that provide multi-gigabit speeds capable of up to 2.5Gbps over your existing Cat5e or better cabling. The 10G SFP+ ports provide high-speed 10Gbps network uplinks or downlinks over long distances. This multi-gigabit PoE++ switch features a durable metal enclosure and can be rack mounted for setup flexibility. The fanless design lowers energy consumption and eliminates distracting operating noise. TRENDnet's reliable 2.5G PoE++ switch is a cost-effective solution to increase your network's throughput. A 240W total PoE power budget on this multi-gig PoE++ switch supplies up to 95W per PoE port. Easily network PoE devices, such as high-power wireless access points, IP cameras, digital signage, IPTV decoders, access controls, and more with this high-power 2.5 gigabit PoE++ switch. This PoE++ switch uses GaN power technology. GaN technology allows power supply designs to be smaller and more efficient. Compared with traditional power supplies, GaN power supplies take up to 40% less foot print. The increased efficiency reduces heat generated by the internal power supply - reducing the need for fans for silent operations.
