The Blackbird™ True 4K/60 HDMI/USB HDBaseT 3.0 Transceiver by Monoprice™ extends True 4K uncompressed HDMI® signals up to 100 meters (328 feet) over a single Cat6a cable. Since HDBaseT also carries bi-directional IR, RS-232, Gigabit Ethernet, and USB 2.0 signals, the transceiver not only extends video, but unlike non-HDBaseT solutions, the unit also extends full control over them from a remote location, which makes it a perfect option for touchscreen panels. The True 4K/60 HDMI/USB HDBaseT 3.0 Transceiver extends 4K HDMI® signals in either the DCI standard (4096 × 2160) or UHD standard (3840 × 2160), both at 60 Hz (4:4:4) resolution, and supports HDCP 2.3, 3D, Deep Color, HDR, HDR 10+, as well as Dolby Vision®. It also incorporates HDMI audio embedding and de-embedding functions, which allows the integration of separate audio and video sources into a single device, or separation of an HDMI source into audio and video signals for use with component amplifiers or powered speakers. The flexible transceiver design of the transceiver allows use as either a transmitter or receiver in specific installations and a pair of them function as a complete, end-to-end HDMI and USB extension solution that is perfect for use in auditoriums, houses of worship, hospitality, and education applications.
